The Puma x BLACK FIVES SUEDE CLASSIC "STAR" combines one of Puma's most popular sneakers with history. The Suede Classic was originally introduced as a break-dancing shoe, but has since established itself as a classic lifestyle shoe. Puma has partnered with the Black Fives Foundation, which revisits, honors and teaches the history of African Americans in the NBA. The Black Fives Era spanned from the early 1900s to 1950, during which time the first black players signed their contracts in the basketball league.
